ISUZI (eye-sue-zi)

ISUZI began with a simple idea: every instrument deserves a strap that's worthy of it. What started as a small family passion project has grown into a UK brand of straps, instruments, accessories and lifestyle pieces, all designed here in the UK and loved by players up and down the country.

A family affair

We've spent years touring, gigging and working behind the scenes in music distribution, helping other brands reach players across the UK. Eventually, we decided it was time to make something for us. So we did.

ISUZI is very much a family brand. Every product is designed here in the UK, made in China to our exacting standards, then stocked and dispatched from our home in Yorkshire as part of the Red Chilli Audio family.

Where it all began

Our first range was a collection of ukulele straps, alongside our own ukuleles and a set of care kits with lemon oil, polish, cloths and string winders. They were the perfect companion for any uke player, and a lovely gift too.

From there, the family grew. Baritone ukuleles and guitarleles joined the line-up, followed by our first acoustic guitar and a complete range of leather guitar straps. Along the way, our ukuleles earned some lovely reviews, including a glowing write-up of our QM-T quilted maple tenor from the team at Got A Ukulele.

Then came the KUP-80, our silicone ukulele pick, which went down a storm with players and is still one of our best sellers today.

Straps with soul

Straps are where our heart is. Our style is boutique, with a retro soul. Think rich suede, full-grain leather and detailed engraving and patterns. There's something here for the boho-chic crowd, and plenty for the cowboys and cowgirls who love that big-country feel.

Then there are our hand-woven GT straps. With their warm textures and carefully matched stitching, they're made for acoustic players, and for the bluesy, jazzy electric players who like their gear to look as soulful as it sounds.

Made for the road

We know life as a player means plenty of travelling, so we've brought the same eye for style to our lifestyle range: leather travel bags, backpacks and messenger bags with a touch of class, made to go wherever the music takes you.

What's next

We're always working on something new, and every product we add has to earn its place in the family. We love these straps, and everything else we make. We hope you do too.
